Pure WoodWing
- 2 minutes read - 235 words.2020 is a well known year for the Corona pandemic. Everything changed when the first persons were committed to the hospitals. Businesses shifted from working from the office to working from home. We thought that it was just for a short while but time progressed quickly, and before you know it we were 8 months in a lock down. When you are working from home and only see the colleagues you directly work with via video calls. You start to loose the connection with the other persons working for the same company. You don’t have the random opportunity to getting into a conversation with someone from marketing or finance.
Pure WoodWing
To spark that feeling of being part of a bigger company I decided to brew a beer. This beer was called Pure WoodWing and is a Belgium Dubbel. Being brewed in the summer means that it was drinking time near the end of the year. As a year closure small groups of colleagues where invited to the office to close the year together at a “save distance”. So I made sure my beers where present so that every employee could take one home.
I got a lot of positive feedback on that beer, not only on the beer itself but also the gesture.
