In Company Trainings Series 1
- 2 minutes read - 337 words. As an AWS Authorized Instructor, I deliver official AWS training courses in-company. These are curriculum-based courses from the AWS Training & Certification portfolio, delivered on-site or virtually to engineering and product teams. Below is an overview of recent deliveries — 10 training days in total.
Architecting on AWS — In-Person (Intermediate)
Format: 3-day in-person classroom training
Location: Delft, The Netherlands
Dates: 22 April, 23 April & 30 April 2026
A hands-on, classroom-based delivery of the Architecting on AWS course for an intermediate engineering cohort. Over three full days on-site, participants worked through core AWS architectural patterns — networking, compute, storage, databases, monitoring, automation, containers, serverless, and edge services — combining instructor-led modules with hands-on labs and collaborative whiteboard exercises. The in-person format allowed for deeper architectural discussions and real-time problem-solving tied to the team’s production environment.
AWS Cloud Practitioner (Product Managers)
Format: 2 × half-day virtual sessions
Dates: 6–7 May 2026
A non-technical introduction to AWS designed specifically for product managers and business stakeholders. This course covers cloud concepts, AWS global infrastructure, core services, security, pricing models, and the shared responsibility model — giving product teams the vocabulary and understanding they need to collaborate effectively with their engineering counterparts on cloud-native initiatives.
Architecting on AWS (Intermediate) — Virtual
Format: 6 × half-day virtual sessions
Dates: 11–29 May 2026
The same foundational architecture course delivered in a virtual format, split across six half-day sessions to accommodate working schedules. Covers networking, compute, storage, databases, monitoring, scaling, automation, containers, serverless, and edge services — with hands-on labs and extended Q&A blocks built into every session to keep the content relevant to the participants’ day-to-day work.
Advanced Architecting on AWS
Format: 6 × half-day virtual sessions
Dates: 2–17 June 2026
A deep-dive course for experienced cloud practitioners covering multi-account architectures, hybrid connectivity, containers, CI/CD, high availability, data security, large-scale data stores, migration strategies, cost optimisation, and edge architectures. Each session blends theory with extended architectural discussions, allowing participants to apply advanced concepts directly to their own infrastructure challenges and design decisions.
